Venezuela's Attorney General Luisa Ortega Díaz

Venezuela's Attorney General, Luisa Ortega Díaz, called for calm and assured that the Attorney General will address the circumstances that may arise after the death of President Chavez. "The call is to be quiet. At this point we must be more united (..) The Attorney General shall review any complaints that may arise, but we are confident that the Venezuelan people (...) will remain calm following the postulates of the leader, "said Ortega from site Military Hospital.

Ortega Diaz said Venezuela will "continue to fight to strengthen the foundation that started the President to continue to drive (...) the deepening of the Venezuelan homeland".

"The call that we remain united, strong, supportive all, (a) that we embrace in peace, unity and, above all, be prepared to continue the project of President Hugo Chavez," he added.

The Attorney General said that after the death of the head of state, state institutions remain united.
